EVIL OFFROAD LLC filed a 7 chapter bankruptcy in the District of Nevada bankruptcy court on December 25, 2024. This is a voluntary filing; it was assigned the bankruptcy case number #24-16738.

The bankruptcy petition for EVIL OFFROAD LLC showed assets in the range of $0-$100,000 with liabilities in the range of $100,001-$1,000,000. EVIL OFFROAD LLC reports that the number of creditors is in the range of 200-999.

The debtor indicated their nature of business as 'None of the Above'. The nature of business option is fairly limited; most companies will chose 'None of the Above'. The options include: 'Health Care Business', 'Single Asset Real Estate', 'Railroad', 'Stockbroker', 'Commodity Broker', 'Clearing Bank', or 'None of the Above'.

EVIL OFFROAD LLC indicated on its bankruptcy petition that it does not expect there will be sufficient assets in the estate to make a payment to the unsecured creditors. This is a bad sign for creditors as it implies that no recovery is likely.

In regards to items yet to be shipped to customers, Doug Parks is responding with:
Understood. We literally had no choice but to file bankruptcy and I did not want to do it for sure. Your products are at the shop and the Trustee as he is called will be in touch with you with options of getting them to you. For now, keep the claim filed with PayPal. f he cannot get you the products, it is good that you did the claim so that you get your funds back.
In regard to the Venmo, remind me of what was done via Venmno and how much please. I need to add that to a list for the Trustee so that he is aware of monies Owed to you so he can attempt to get them to you.
Prior to bankruptcy, and probably the #1 reason why they went bankrupt, many customers complained of either never receiving their products or having to wait extreme wait times (6+ months). Don't know the full details to why they had such bad delivery on items, but it really did lead to their demise. However, on the other end, the customers that have received their products have praised the brand, minus some exceptions. I'm getting rumors that the brand owner is looking to grow another company with the same fabricated parts, and hopefully have better management. I wouldn't be surprised if the initial launch of that will be less than welcome, due to the owner's failure. I'll cover it if and when it does launch. Hopefully his 2nd chance is redeeming.

The biggest gripe with this brand seems to be that they mass produce products that are not "quality." They claim to have QA'd everything that leaves their facility, and if it is true, their QA department is not the brightest. If you have high blood pressure issues, avoid their customer service like the plague.
They don't account for the customer actually having issues. They are quick to blame you and point fingers at you, and proceed to make you feel stupid despite your evidence against theirs.

I've purchased various products from them (Headlights, Brake Lights, Pod Lights, etc.) and have to admit, the quality is exceptional. But the major drawback is, they're expensive. You're definitely facing a premium price point with every product they have to offer. Their customer service is also pretty great. It wasn't too difficult placing a warranty claim with their representatives. But since the brand is popular, be ready to face some backorder issues.
They stand by their work and care for their customers. I highly recommend them if you can afford them.

Reason for controversial:
In the past, the brand was questionable with its rebuilt shocks quality. Many complaints were issued in the past due to it. The way it was managed was not favored by many, but this process has made the brand stronger and better today.

The brand has definitely come a long way. The shocks they deliver via rebuild and exchange services have been phenomenal. My truck has been running them for a while and I have no complaints. The shocks I've received have the upgraded Schrader valves that make nitrogen refills a breeze. The delivery time was awesome and I got my full refund back after I cleaned my shocks thoroughly.

The brand, run by Kevin Hilderbrand, seems to have gone MIA.
They had promising products from inhouse and as an authorized retailer for other brands. It's such a shame that they stopped responding to messages or posting all entirely without a public announcement of halting business operations.

FYI: Eastern Shore Retro / Kevin Hilderbrand seems to be MIA. I've been ghosted on both messaging the page and him, and trying to get up with them on the website. I advise against ordering anything until resolution arises.

This is a good alternative to Morimoto Headlights if you want something customized from the stock headlight assembly. Definitely adds diversity to the community instead of having a bunch of Raptors modified the same / similar.
Customer service with this brand is great. I have not heard of any negatives with dealing with them. Hoonigan at one point used their headlights for their Raptors.

Four Sync Tech is good, I have purchased a Sync 3 kit from them. The other two, I have no first-hand experience, so it'll be from a third party perspective later on.
I will bring more content on these issues, I just need time and motivation. I'm sorry! :oops:
