#Family What's it like having 2 boys?

I've been asked this question many times over. I guess the dynamic seems huge, but I really think it's like any routine... But routine².

It's really not at all difficult or unique in my perspective. Really, you just do what you have done the last couple of years and replicate it again. You are already in the groove of things, just account another head in the equation. If you really want another child, I think the best time to do it is when your current son is below the age of 4.

Another perk of this situation is that it's pretty much a "monkey see, monkey do" dynamic. Our youngest has picked up on things way faster than our oldest has, quite literally because the youngest mocks or mimics the oldest.

Our oldest wants to be involved as well, so he likes to join in and help or hold our youngest's hand in situations where an extra hand would be nice.

Another great point that I want to make is, you can be done with diapers earlier on and be done with them for the rest of your life! Like I've mentioned earlier, its all about routine. You are going from one butt to the next. No retraining or death by PowerPoints from your wives my dudes! You're already certified and well equipped on this scenario. #nopoopybutts #diaperroutine
Do it now, be done with them forever... Or if you're planning on being an involved grandparent, hopefully sometime after their 16th-20th birthday, you'll just be a well seasoned diaper changing veteran!

Now for the con. Yes, believe it or not, there's going to be a con!
My wife can probably elaborate on this and attest to this 100%. If you have any issues with anxiety, especially with the first born, you're about to embark on a rocky adventure. It doesn't get any easier, but don't get me twisted. It's rewarding having both of them, and I wouldn't know a world where either one of them are not here. I need both of them in my life. They've become a huge influence in everything I've done, and they have driven me mad several times and I know for years to come, my hair will gray more and more. But it's so worth it!

I know, I said con but I can't imagine a world where I don't conclude with a positive note for something that's supposed to be negative, about my own children.

If you're in a good space, I say don't question it. They're amazing and I know your kids are and will be too!
